What is MILK ?
MILK stands for Milwaukee Indie Local Comics. We are a local organization that runs comic events throughout the year, culminating in a one-day festival! The fest features local artists, as well as guests from around the Midwest. Attendees will be able to meet and speak with independent comic artists and illustrators. MILK Fest has run since 2022.

Applications for 2026 MILK Fest now open!
Applications are open to all artists but comics must be the primary exhibited work. Artists are applying for one half table to be shared with another random artist. Applicants are reviewed by a jury for selection. Applications are open until May 31st, 2026 and exhibitors will be notified of their application status by June 30th. New location!
HUGE NEWS! We are so excited to share that MILK Fest 2026 will be held again at @3rdstmarkethall this September!
We are grateful for the Cooperage MKE for hosting us the first years of the fest as we established MILK. Moving venues will allow us to accommodate even more cartoonists as our fest grows.
